When we offer Muslims the Gospel of Jesus Christ, accompanied by signs and wonders, they listen to the life-changing message with more openness than they would without those manifestations.

The Gospel that brings healing for the sick, deliverance for the demonized and oppressed, and victory in the name of Jesus often finds a heartfelt welcome. That is the Gospel Christ commissioned his disciples to preach (Matthew 10:1; Hebrews 2:4).

Prayer

Lord, I pray for all Gospel workers among Muslims. May they be especially equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Good News and counter the works of the devil by manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit.

May your glory be revealed to many Muslims this week through miraculous acts of your mercy and grace. I pray that signs and wonders will accompany the preaching of the Word. May evil spirits be cast out in the name of Jesus before the eyes of many Muslims. May the sick be healed and the oppressed be delivered. May the Son of God be glorified.

I pray that through such miracles, Muslims will see a clear confirmation of the claims of Christ, the only Lord and Savior, and abandon their resistance to the Gospel. May they see such acts of supernatural power as an obvious proof of the authority of the Gospel. May Muslims realize that the Kingdom of God is near. May they repent and believe the Good News.

Promise

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons…. they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well (Mark 16:17-18, NIV).
